La-La Land Records and Paramount Pictures have teamed up to release a remastered CD of music by Dimitri Tiomkin from It’s a Wonderful Life in honor of the film’s 75th anniversary.

The 75th anniversary edition is produced by Dan Goldwasser and restored and mastered by Chris Malone. The limited edition release features track sequencing that more accurately reflects Tiomkin’s original intentions. Among the bonus tracks are the film version of the “Main Title,” several alternate takes, and music from the film’s trailer. The extensive liner notes are by Frank K. DeWald; the art direction is by Goldwasser.

Shipping now, with a retail price of US$21.98, the CD features Tiomkin’s original motion picture score to the 1946 film, now considered a holiday classic.
